Collaboration
I’m more than happy to work with your regular vet and farrier. When I do an assessment, either your regular vet can take the podiatry x-rays or I can take them. Once I have written my report, I’ll share with you, your vet, and your farrier.
Preventative Hoof Care
This type of appointment involves a comprehensive assessment of your horse’s hooves. Even if hooves appear “normal”, there may be small adjustments that may help improve performance, behavior, and soundness1. See the below example of the report you’ll get after your assessment. It includes measurements, interpretations, recommendations, etc.

Therapeutic and Other Types of Appointments
These type of appointments might be for laminitis, white line disease, keratomas, chronic abscesses, canker, or any kind of hoof abnormality. An assessment report is written for these as well, and will include information on your horse’s issue.
